Oregon has two wide receivers committed in 2024 and is looking for more. Xavier Jordan is a top target for Junior Adams and the Ducks and he transferred to Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon this offseason.

He visited Oregon in January and left with an offer from the Ducks. I was able to catch up with him for the latest in his recruitment at last weekend's UA Next Camp in Los Angeles.

Question: You took home MVP honors, talk about what it was like competing today.

Jordan: "It was real easy. I just came out here and being myself. It was so easy to the point I was just catching the ball with one hand. Not even to be cocky, I'm just being real calm right now. It was fun. I came here last year, I wasn't as good as I was now. So now I got the respect I deserved."

Question: Tell me about your Oklahoma visit and what you're seeing with the Sooners.

Jordan: "I like Oklahoma a lot. I like Oklahoma like I like SC and like how I like Oregon. And Washington, I like them too. I like Ohio State. I liked all of 'em. They all showed me that I can play there."

Question: What trips do you have coming up?

Jordan: "Probably gonna go to Tennessee. Gonna go back to Oregon. I'm going back to Oklahoma. I'm gonna go to SC a couple of times. More for sure. Penn State. There's a couple I'm looking forward to."

Question: What's the contact been like with Oregon? Junior Adams still leading the way?

Jordan: "Yeah. We still text here and there. I like it."

Question: Have you started to think about official visits at all?

Jordan: "SC has one for sure. Oklahoma has one for sure. Washington has one for sure."

Question: What schools are you hearing from the most right now?

Jordan: "SC. SC talks to me every day. I'm hearing from SC, Washington, Oklahoma and Ohio State."

Question: What stands out about the Buckeyes?

Jordan: "They're wide receiver U. That's wide receiver U man. You can't beat Ohio State for real. They have a proven fact them putting out receivers."
