Woodby is listed at 5'11", 183 pounds and is rated a four-star (0.9647) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 79 player nationally, the No. 9 cornerback and the No. 3 recruit in Maryland.
He's an early priority for Demetrice Martin and the Ducks at cornerback in the 2025 class along with players like Dijon Lee (Mission Viejo, CA), Daryus Dixon (Santa Ana, CA) and Cobey Sellers (Pearland, TX).
TORRES' TAKE: The Latest in Oregon Football Recruiting, Colorado Week
The Ducks may have a bit of an inside track for Woodby, as he's already visited Oregon and he's teammates with a pair of future Ducks in quarterback Michael Van and cornerback Ify Obidegwu.
Oregon's 2025 recruiting class is off to a hot start and is ranked No. 4 nationally by 247Sports. With four verbal commitments in the fold, headlined by five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson and Duck legacy quarterback Akili Smith Jr., there's certainly a chance it could finish as the best class in program history.
Demetrice Martin was named Pac-12 Recruiter of the Year by 247Sports for his efforts in the 2023 recruiting cycle, signing a pair of All-Americans in Rodrick Pleasant and Daylen Austin. With more attention shifting to the 2025 recruiting class, he's working on assembling his next crew of corners that want to play there college ball in Eugene.
With Woody including the Ducks in his top five schools, they've got a great shot at landing his commitment.
