DD Holmes Sets OV with South Carolina

The 6-foot-6 Edge from Gonzaga High School in Washington, DC, will begin his official visit with South Carolina this weekend on Friday, June 9th, as part of the second official visit week for the Gamecocks.

With his official visit to South Carolina on the horizon, Holmes has the opportunity to experience the Gamecocks' football program up close. This visit will allow him to interact with coaches, meet current players, tour the facilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the team's culture and the university's academic offerings.

DD recently dropped his top 6 of South Carolina, Florida State, Michigan, Rutgers, Florida, and Maryland. He's coming off of an official visit from Rutgers and currently doesn’t have any other official visits set with any school in his top 6.

The Gamecocks, who have some momentum with DD. , are hoping to build on that some more this week after losing Justin Greene to Georgia last week and continue the DMZ-South Carolina pipeline.
