Recruits Make Final Pitch For Nyckoles Harbor
Five-star Nyckoles Harbor will make his decision on February 1st on ESPN. He's the most sought-after South Carolina recruit in recent memory and would be a monumental pickup for this staff.
With this being the final piece and the biggest target in the class, multiple South Carolina commits have taken to social media to urge Harbor toward the Gamecocks.
Monteque Rhames, EDGE
Rhames is one of the more polished signees that South Carolina landed. He has the prerequisite size and strength to make a difference at the next level and is quite the recruiter.
Rhames has posted about Harbor seven times since this weekend. He's been one of the most vocal advocates for this move and has been for several months before anyone even signed a letter of intent.
Grayson Howard, ILB
Howard has been on Harbor since day one of his decision. The two are good friends, and Howard is the first that took things to social media, going all the way back to the Georgia game in September.
He posted a video of them taking a group picture on the field during their official visit. Howard has been one of South Carolina's best recruiters since committing to the Gamecocks, and that has remained true with Harbor.
Desmond Umeozulu, EDGE
South Carolina has attacked the DMV area under head coach Shane Beamer. Edge rusher Desmond Umeozulu spearheaded that charge and has been vocal in getting other DMV natives to Columbia.
Umeozulu noted the possibility of Harbor playing with a former five-star quarterback Spencer Rattler, who helped South Carolina beat two top-10 teams last season. Rattler has since weighed in, approving the move.
Dante Reno, QB
Reno was very involved with this 2023 class. Carolina didn’t have a 2023 quarterback commit until the weekend after early national signing day, so Reno has been very active with Harbor. He took to Twitter this week to pitch him one last time.
