Women's Basketball Poll Watching Week 12: Wildcats Pounce Into Top Four

The Kansas State women's basketball team continues to show that the road to a Big 12 Championship, and possible national championship, runs through Manhattan, Kansas. The Wildcats (19-1, 8-0) pounced into the Top Four in both polls this week after Iowa, last week's No. 2 team, lost an overtime game to Ohio State. K-State is now as high as No. 2 in the Coaches Poll and No. 4 in the AP Top 25.

South Carolina, the only undefeated team in women's basketball, remains at the No. 1 spot in both polls this week. In the AP Top 25, the top five are South Carolina, UCLA, Colorado, Kansas State, and Iowa. In the Coaches Poll, it's the same five teams but in a different order - South Carolina, Kansas State, Colorado, UCLA, and Iowa.
