Men's Basketball: TCU Lands 4-Star Forward David Punch

Four-star forward David Punch picks TCU over schools like Penn State, NC State and Xavier.

The Horned Frogs have added their fourth recruit to the class of 2024 in four-star forward David Punch.

At 6 foot 7 inches and 205 pounds, Punch comes to the Frogs from Harker Heights, TX. As one of the top recruits in Texas, he chose TCU over NC State and Penn State in his top three.

Punch plays the role of a power forward in today's game being able to play both sides at an elite level and score from anywhere on the court. Although he has a composed demeanor, he plays extremely hard and is physical rebounding and finishing around the rim. His skillset will translate great to the next level.

Punch joins Micah Robinson, Malick Diallo, and Ashton Simmons in TCU's class of 2024. This gives TCU the 12th-ranked 2024 class in all of college basketball and 3rd in the new Big 12, just behind Arizona and Kansas.

Jamie Dixon is building something special in Fort Worth, and this program is here to stay.
