The TCU women's basketball team easily rolled past Tulsa on Friday night, beating the Golden Hurricanes 82-50. It was the fourth straight game for TCU to score 80+ points and the fifth of the season.

The win propelled the Frogs to 8-0 after the first month of the season. It marks the first time in TCU program history that a team has started 8-0.

Madison Conner, the junior guard who transferred from Arizona in the off-season, scored half of TCU's points with a career-high performance. She shot 12-of-23, including 10-of-13 from the 3-point range.

It's time to hop on the TCU women's basketball bandwagon. This team is hot, and they seem to be having fun along the way. TCU's average margin of victory is 24.25 points. Only two of their wins (Incarnate Word and Nebraska) have been single-digit wins.

Conner's 41 points were the most in a single game in regulation in program history and rank second all-time, behind only Emily Carter's 43 in a double overtime victory over SMU on November 17, 2010. Conner was one deep ball shy of matching TCU's single-game record for 3-pointers.

Her ten three-pointers were also tied for the most in a game by any player this season. Conner's 41 points were the third-most in a game across the D1 ranks. She leads the nation in 3-pointers (42).

Jaden Owens and Sedona Prince also heavily contributed to the TCU win. Owens had 11 assists, the most she has had this season at TCU. Prince scored 15 points and added eight rebounds.

Conner and Prince have managed double-digit points every game this season. Going into the game, only two teams in the nation with two 20-point-per-game scorers. The other team? It was Tulsa. However, the Frogs held Temira Poindexter (23.3 ppg) and Delanie Crawford (20 ppg) to 15 and 11 points, respectively.
