And now for the inexplicably obligatory narrative.

This is not so much a game prognosticator as a weather forecast.  And gird thy loins, folks!  It's going to be hot (cue the Buster Poindexter tune here).  The high, on Saturday, is going to be 98.  Take into account the thousands crowded into bleachers reflecting sunlight like glass, and we'll all be lucky to walk away from the game alive.

Having said that, as I prophesied here, Coach Prime is going to be Coach Prime Rib before halftime.  And his Buffaloes, all seventy-five newcomers, are going to stock the Reata's refrigerator for a year.  Hopefully, the rest of us will prove more acclimated.  But honestly!  How do acclimate to a month of 100 degree days?  The human body can only do so much.

Colorado is visiting us after a weak season (1-11).  They're going to be out for blood.  But our boys have much to prove after last year's National Championship, as Johnny Hodges will attest.  They're strong, they're focused, and they have a chip on their shoulder roughly the size of Dallas.  100 degrees?  Please.  They could play in 1000.
