In this story:

Earlier this week, the AP announced its Preseason All-American first and second teams. With its announcement, the preseason honors season concluded. Over the summer, 33 awards, organizations, and publications announced their 2023 watch lists and preseason teams.

Texas leads the Big 12 with 55 nominations from 13 players. Texas also leads the conference with at least one player named to 28 of the 33 awards/lists, followed by TCU with 23.
