Women's Soccer Poll Watching Week 8: Frogs Move Up Two Spots

The TCU women's soccer team went 1-1-0 last week with a home win over Kansas then a loss on the road to then-No. 7 Texas Tech. The team is now 9-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 in Big 12 play. 

Despite losing to a strong Red Raiders team, TCU jumped up two spots to land at No. 21 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll for Week 8.

TCU was No. 9 in the preseason poll, then dropped to No. 16 in the Week 1 poll, fell out of the polls in Week 2, back in at No. 25 in Week 3, and then dropped out again in Week 4. TCU returned to the rankings in Week 7 at No. 23. 

Florida State is now the top team in the nation, jumping ahead of North Carolina. The Big 12 has three teams ranked in the top 25. Texas Tech moved up one spot to No. 6, and BYU moved down one spot to No. 8. Texas is also receiving votes in this week's poll.
