In this story:

The Bruins just keep on winning.

I feel confident in the claim that no Bruins fans would have thought that UCLA would be 6-0 heading into Week 8, yet here we are. UCLA took down Wisconsin in a defensive-dominated matchup to keep their perfect record intact.

Along with the win, several questions and concerns have been answered, based on the team's performance against Wisconsin.

Ty Dieffenbach Looks Legit

It seems like the consensus is that Bruins fans are very pleased with the performance they saw from Ty Dieffenbach. Fans sounded off on X with their praise for the senior quarterback, noting his confidence and accuracy throughout the matchup.

Some fans even claimed that the offense looks much better under Dieffenbach than it did with Nico Iamaleava. It's an interesting claim, but perhaps we'll have to see a few more matchups with Dieffenbach as QB1 before we make a firm decision on that matter.

Dieffenbach played exceptionally well all night long, taking full command of this offense and placing the ball downfield in tight windows. He would end the night 22-of-33 for 264 yards and an interception, although the interception came at the end of the first half on a heave towards the end zone as time expired.

It's great to have seen Dieffenbach play so well, especially considering that there was real concern for this team following Iamaleava’s season-ending injury. Dieffenbach looks to have cleared out any concerns Bruins fans may have moving forward, as he has shown real promise that this team can continue to do great things this season.

The Bruins will get two more games at home following this win, with matchups against Michigan State and Nevada coming up next. Looking ahead at that schedule, there's a real chance that we see a Ty Dieffenbach-led Bruins sitting at 8-0 following those matchups.

Semaj Morgan Praise

Fans also gave wide receiver Semaj Morgan his flowers for his arguable best performance of the season. He didn't find the end zone in this game, but he looked reliable and made it clear that he would be the team's WR1 moving forward. His connection with Dieffenbach looked strong, and he ended the night with 5 catches for 84 yards, including multiple drive-extending plays that would ultimately lead UCLA to the win.

Morgan will be a huge asset for this offense moving forward, especially if he can continue to have a reliable connection with Diefenbach. You can expect big things from this duo moving forward, as they seem to be the type that will only get better with time.
