The Bruins remain in the hunt for one of the top uncommitted linemen in the country.

Class of 2024 offensive tackle Isaiah Garcia unveiled his top 10 semifinalists Tuesday night on Twitter, and UCLA football made the cut. Nebraska, Miami (FL), Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Stanford and Utah are the other semifinalists still in contention for the Corner Canyon (UT) prospect.

Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Nevada, Oregon State, UNLV, Utah State and Washington State were the other schools that had Garcia, but they all appear to be out of the running for his commitment at the moment.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Garcia has been visiting schools consistently over the past few months, starting with in-state trips to Utah and BYU in January. In April alone, Garcia went to Washington, UCLA and USC, and he has four officials booked for June – USC, Utah, Oregon and Stanford.

While Garcia has just now trimmed his list down to 10, 247Sports Mountain Region Recruiting Analyst Blair Angulo submitted a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Utes all the way back in October. 247Sports' UteZone.com Utah insider Steve Bartle put in a crystal ball prediction of his own for Utah in April.

Garcia appeared at the ESPN300 Elite Underclassmen Camp last June, and he will go again this June. After making the 6A All-State First Team at the end of his breakout junior season at Cyprus (UT), Garcia earned invitations to the 2024 Under Armour All-American Game and the 2024 Polynesian Bowl.

According to 247Sports, ESPN and On3, Garcia is a four-star recruit, while Rivals has him pegged as a three-star. In the 247Sports Composite, Garcia is ranked as the No. 1 player in Utah, the No. 20 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 212 overall player in his class.

Garcia ranks No. 2 among offensive tackles in the West and Mountain regions, and he is the No. 15 tackle who is not currently verbally committed somewhere.

UCLA already has three offensive tackle commits – three-stars Mark Schroller, Marquise Thorpe-Taylor and Joshua Glanz – which is set to do wonders for the team's depth up front as they prepare to move to the Big Ten in 2024.

Between their 2022 and 2023 high school recruiting classes, the Bruins added just two offensive linemen, both of whom were three-star prospects ranked outside the top 500 nationally – Sam Yoon and Tavake Tuikolovatu. Of the six who joined in the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes – none of whom were top 500 prospects – only four remain.

Offensive line coach Tim Drevno is well on his way to turning that around in his second full recruiting cycle, though, with Schroller, Thorpe-Taylor and Glanz already pledged to UCLA. Four-star tackles Nathan Roy and Manasse Itete also have the Bruins in their top seven and top 10, respectively.

Between Schroller, Thorpe-Taylor, Glanz, three-star linebacker Isaiah Patterson and four-star defensive back Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins, UCLA's five-man class of 2024 ranks No. 38 in the country and No. 3 in the Pac-12.
