Watch The Bruins Put Their Work in Before Last Sunday's Hurricane

In this story:
With less than two weeks until UCLA's Sep. 2 season opener at the Rose Bowl versus Coastal Carolina, the Bruins are preparing earnestly for the task at hand.
Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall is one of the nation's top signal-callers. Over parts of four seasons, the 3-time Sun Belt Player of the Year has accrued a combined 78 touchdowns to only eight interceptions. McCall has also connected on 70.6 percent of his throws during this time. Suffice it to say but he will present a real challenge for UCLA's secondary.
Chip Kelly's practices are notoriously tight-lipped. Usually, the media only gets roughly 15-20 minutes of exposure to a practice. Even then, much of that time showcases the players running through individual drills rather than anything schematic. In other words, you won't learn much from a UCLA practice (and that's totally by design).

However, that doesn't mean the media department at UCLA isn't doing its best to keep fans informed.
This engaging video, almost nine minutes in length- provides an inside look into UCLA's practice this past Sunday. Yes, it was the morning of the now infamous 'hurriquake' which rattled much of Southern California.
We see some clips of various players going through on-field drills. Senior defensive end Carl Jones (No. 4) is especially boisterous in getting the team ready for its work. Starting cornerback Jaylin Davies wore a go-pro -- giving fans a unique look at footage on a punt return, kick return, and also in coverage.
From everything I’m hearing, it’s essentially neck-and-neck between Ethan Garbers and Dante Moore. I expect both to play in all 3 non-conf games #UCLA

From there, we got to see some of the fun personalities on the team. A plethora of team members were asked about something which made them unique compared to their teammates. QB Ethan Garbers boasted that he can "beat anybody in golf." Fellow QB Collin Schlee called himself "the best basketball player" on the team (as did corner Alex Johnson). To note: The QB competition between Garbers and Dante Moore still appears to be up in the air at this point.
TE Coach Jeff Faris even admitted that he eats McDonald's every single day! Among the more unique reveals, freshman LB Ty Lee admitted that he watches "The Grinch" the night before every game (which has been the case dating back to his 8th-grade year).
With that said, barring injury, I think you roll with Moore in Week 4 at Utah. A tall task to be sure, though his ceiling/the team’s upside for a special season is higher with Moore compared to Garbers. Think game manager versus a potentially elite talent #UCLA

Toward the end of the video, we saw how several former Bruins were playing during the current NFL preseason. Among them, former QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and RB Zach Charbonnet seem to perform at high levels, respectively.
