UCLA Basketball: Adem Bona Moves Up All-Time Bruins Leaderboard In This Stat

With three blocked shots on the night, Bona moved into a solo No. 6 on UCLA's all-time blocked shots leaderboard.

Bona is known for his defensive dominance. On Thursday, he was named to the 15-man watchlist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award. He is the only Pac-12 representative on the list.
The 6-foot-10 forward/center from Nigeria was averaging 1.9 blocks per game before Saturday. He leads all Pac-12 players in blocks in conference games only with 27 blocks in league play (2.5 per game).
The Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award is gifted annually to the nation's most outstanding defensive player, Bona is looking to become the second Bruin to win it. It has been presented annually since 1969.
Bona and the Bruins return home for their next three games beginning with Colorado. on Thursday and followed by Utah on Sunday.
