About the Publisher: Sam Connon
Sam Connon is the Publisher and Managing Editor at All Bruins, in association with the FanNation and Sports Illustrated networks. He previously covered UCLA women's basketball and baseball for the Daily Bruin from 2017-2018 before joining the UCLA football and men's basketball beats as an Assistant Sports Editor in the 2018-2019 academic year. Connon then became the paper's Sports Editor from 2019-2020 and was a Senior Staff Writer from 2020-2021, traveling to Washington, Ohio, Nevada, Arizona and Indiana to report on some of the biggest moments in Bruin sports.
In addition to his four years at UCLA's award-winning student newspaper, Connon has also been a contributor for 247Sports' Bruin Report Online, Rivals' BruinBlitz, Dash Sports TV, Prime Time Sports Talk, SportsPac12, The Sports Life Blog and Patriot Maven, Sports Illustrated's New England Patriots site. His work as a sports columnist has been awarded by the College Media Association and Society of Professional Journalists.
Connon graduated from UCLA in June 2021 and is originally from Winchester, Massachusetts.
