UCLA Women's Basketball: Beavers Dam Bruins With Buzzer Beater

UCLA was at full strength for the first time since January and was left heartbroken as Oregon State sunk a three at the buzzer to beat the Bruins 79-77.
Frustrations mounted early when the referees controlled the pace, calling every little thing resulting in 19 first-half fouls. The teams totaled 36 for the game.
The last 10 seconds were action-packed. Angela Dugalic drained a three from the top of the key to give UCLA a 75-74 lead with eight seconds to play. The Beavers answered on a layup with 2.3 seconds on the clock.
Lauren Betts set a new career-high with 24 points when she hit a jumper from the free-throw line in what appeared to be a game-winner but one second was added back on the clock giving OSU a chance to advance on the inbound with 1.1 seconds to play.
Talia Van Oelhoffen came off the screen and nailed the buzzer-beater to end it.
Fifth-year guard Charisma Osborne made UCLA history passing Jordin Canada for second all-time in career scoring.
Reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week Raegan Beers from OSU left the game in the second quarter after catching an elbow to the face from Kiki Rice. She did not return.
