Super Bowl 2023 rosters ranked by college football teams, conferences
Super Bowl LVII is set between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles for Sun., Feb. 12 from Glendale and the game will see many former college football stars take the field for the NFL championship.
Including the game's two starting quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes, the former Texas Tech star who has emerged as a superstar at quarterback for the Chiefs, and Jalen Hurts, who has two schools claiming him, Alabama and Oklahoma.
Hurts famously started at Alabama as a true freshman for the 2016 campaign before being benched in favor of Tua Tagovailoa in the College Football Playoff national title game the following season.

But his career with the Crimson Tide wasn't done yet: Hurts had his number called again after Tagovailoa was injured in the 2018 SEC Championship Game, and led two scoring drives against Georgia, one to tie the game at 28 and another when he ran for a score to beat the Bulldogs.
From there, Hurts transferred to Oklahoma as a graduate in the 2019 season and went on to achieve career highs in passing (3,851) and touchdowns (32).

Mahomes is seeking what would be his second Super Bowl championship after winning MVP honors in Super Bowl LIV after the 2019 season and has evolved into arguably the single-greatest player in the NFL today.
