Atlanta Braves' Ronald Acuña Jr. Wears Chain of Himself to MLB All-Star Game Red Carpet

The midseason NL MVP favorite showed up in Seattle wearing a bright pink suit and an interesting piece of jewelry.

Ronald Acuña Jr.'s pink suit was far from the most interesting thing he was wearing at the MLB All-Star Game Red Carpet in Seattle on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Braves right fielder donned a custom chain of himself doing the "Too Small" celebration, which he has used following big hits this season. The chain and the figurine of Acuña both appeared to be diamond-studded.

Acuña first used the "Too Small" celebration while rounding third base after a leadoff home run on April 1. He has since returned to the move several other times this year, including when he's stopped at second base on powerful doubles.

Through 89 games this season, Acuña has already racked up 21 home runs, 55 RBI, 41 stolen bases, 79 runs and 209 total bases, the latter three of which lead the league. The 25-year-old outfielder from Venezuela is also batting .331 with an NL-best .990 OPS.

Acuña is the first player in AL or NL history to enter the All-Star break with 20-plus home runs, 40-plus stolen bases and 50-plus RBI.

After winning NL Rookie of the Year in 2018 and finishing fifth in MVP voting in 2019, Acuña has been unable to string together a full season. Acuña played 46 of 60 games in the shortened 2020 season, followed by just 82 in 2021 and 119 in 2021.

Acuña is making the most of this resurgent campaign, showing off his skills on the field and his personality off of it.

The 2023 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. on FOX.

Acuña will be batting out of the leadoff spot for the National League for the second year in a row. The right fielder will be making his fourth-consecutive All-Star appearance in the process.
