The Philadelphia Phillies dialed up the launch codes five times in their 12-7 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, with superstar Bryce Harper getting the ball rolling with a solo home run in the second inning.

Harper called his shot, too, for a one fan in particular.

"It's funny, I was driving in today and I'm listening to (94)WIP (FM), like I do a lot, the 2 o'clock hour, and a guy named Chuck called in – he calls in a lot, he's hilarious," Harper said. "He was talking about our team, talking about me and stuff and I walked into the training room and I said 'I'm gonna go deep tonight for Chuck.' That guy had me fired up, man."

The caller, a regular on the Jon Marks & Ike Reese show, sent a heartfelt message to Harper earlier in the day, asking him to come meet some fans at a local sports bar.

"If I'm gonna do anything before I die, I'm gonna shake that man's hand one day, cause he's one of the best," Chuck said. "If he's listening to this, listen man, listen – Bryce, get your ass down to Chickie's and Pete's whenever you get a chance, man. And come meet me and come meet the people that love you cause you are the man and we go where Bryce Harper goes."

Harper is now up to 14 home runs and 53 RBI the season, and he improved his batting average to .309 and his OPS to .899 with a 2-for-4 showing at the plate Tuesday.

The Phillies will wrap up their three-game series with the Angels starting at 1:05 p.m. ET, looking to complete the sweep and improve to 18-9 in August.
