A huge matchup for the women’s bantamweight division has reportedly been set for the UFC Fight Night card scheduled for June 20.

Although this weekend’s UFC Vegas 115 offering isn’t the most star-studded card that the promotion has ever put together, the UFC is currently in the middle of a relentless stretch of events that won’t see a break until the latter half of May.

Some fans already looking ahead to the summer likely have their eyes on the “Freedom Fights 250” card set for June 14, and the week after that the promotion will return home to Las Vegas for a UFC Fight Night card headlined by a likely flyweight title eliminator fight between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi.

Karol Rosa vs. Luana Santos Set For UFC Vegas 119

First reported by Ag Fight, the Kape vs. Horiguchi card on June 20 has added a major women’s bantamweight tilt between top-ranked contenders Karol Rosa and Luana Santos.

Already a veteran of 14 professional MMA fights by the time she joined the UFC in 2019, Rosa took a split decision over Lara Fritzen in her promotional debut and went on to win her first four Octagon outings before dropping a decision to former title challenger and Olympic Silver Medalist Sara McMann in 2022.

Rosa rebounded with a majority decision victory over Lina Lansberg later that year, but the Brazilian has alternated wins and losses since that 4-0 start to her UFC career. She’s shared the Octagon with some of the bantamweight division’s biggest names during that period, and the 31-year-old most recently defeated Nora Cornolle last August after she started 2025 with a loss to Ailin Perez, who recently just extended her winning run to six fights.

Luana Santos Could Break Into Top 10 After Back-To-Back Wins

Rosa will look to win back-to-back fights for the first time since 2021 when she takes on her countrywoman Santos, who currently sits six spots below her at #14 in the official UFC women’s bantamweight rankings.

Santos broke into the UFC in 2023 with a first-round finish of The Ultimate Fighter winner Julianna Miller before closing out the year with a unanimous decision over Stephanie Egger, although she did unfortunately miss weight ahead of that matchup. A first-round submission against Mariya Agapova brought her UFC record to 3-0 before she came up short against Casey O’Neill, but Santos will carry a two-fight win streak into her meeting with Rosa after she picked up a pair of wins last year.

Rosa vs. Santos is the second all-Brazilian matchup that’s been added to UFC Vegas 119, and for now the card only has three additional fights scheduled to support the main event between Kape and Horiguchi.
