VIDEO: Tatiana Suarez Dominates & Submits Former UFC Champion Jessica Andrade

The UFC Fight Night co-main event in Nashville between former champion Jessica Andrade and undefeated fighter Tatiana Suarez had all of the makings of a great matchup. It didn’t take long for Suarez to show that this was going to be a one-sided affair.
Suarez held her own striking with one of the most powerful punchers in the division but eventually showed her all-world wrestling skills. Early in the second round Suarez found the neck of Andrade and locked up a guillotine choke.

This is a gigantic result for Suarez as her road to this point has been turbulent.
Suarez breezed through the Ultimate Fighter house in Season 23 and made her UFC debut in only her fourth professional fight. Unfortunately for the California native, an injury forced her to miss over three years before making her return in a submission win against Montana De La Rosa in February.
The result of this fight has major implications in the women’s strawweight division as current champion Zhang Weili is defending her title against Amanda Lemos on August 19th at UFC 292.

Suarez now has wins against three former or current UFC champions and the next time she fights, it may be for the belt.
