UFC Fight Night Austin Results & Highlights: Tsarukyan Stuns Dariush
The UFC returned to the road following a week off for a stacked Fight Night event at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
Dariush and Tsarukyan met in a pivotal lightweight clash.

The night’s main event was about as high-profile a fight as you can ask for from a non-PPV card with Beneil Dariush taking on Arman Tsarukyan. Dariush was looking to defend his #4 lightweight ranking and get back on track after his knockout loss to Charles Oliveira, but Tsarukyan floored "Benny" with a brutal combination just over a minute into their fight.
The co-main event was originally supposed to be a five-round lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Dan Hooker. “The Hangman” unfortunately broke his arm less than two weeks before the event, and Jalin Turner stepped in on short-notice to end Green's winning run with a brutal knockout.
Turner made lightweight on short notice for a matchup with Green.

The stacked main card also included former flyweight titleholder Deiveson Figueiredo making his bantamweight debut with a decision win over Rob Font. Kelvin Gastelum's return to the welterweight division was also spoiled by a dominant performance from Sean Brady, and in the night’s featured prelim former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate submitted Julia Avila in the third round.
