2026 Inductees

Jeff Medders
Jeff Medders has become an iconic figure in the Western lifestyle industry as a television host at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) since 1991.
His company, Geronimo Productions, managed the television side of the NFR from 2012-2019, and he served as the President/General Manager of The Cowboy Channel from 2020-2024.
Medders has played a key role in the development of media in professional rodeo, with endless contributions to the sport.
Butch Myers
The 1980 PRCA Steer Wrestling World Champion, Myers was a 12-time NFR qualifier. Of those qualifications, 11 were in steer wrestling and one was in tie-down roping. Myers passed away on July 24, 2024, and he left a legacy behind that continues to grow.
His son, Rope, qualified for the NFR nine times and earned the 2001 PRCA Steer Wrestling World Championship. Cash, a seven-time NFR qualifier, followed in his father‘s footsteps, qualifying six times in the steer wrestling and once in the tie-down roping. He also qualified for the National Finals Steer Roping eight times.
Myers‘ grandson Quade Hiatt qualified for the 2024 NFR in tie-down roping. Recently, his grandson Holden Myers earned the $65,000 win at RODEOHOUSTON in the steer wrestling, following in two generations' worth of footsteps.
Jerome Davis
Jerome Davis first earned his place in the history books in 1995, as the first cowboy from east of the Mississippi River to win a World Championship in bull riding, according to PRCA records. The North Carolina cowboy not only earned the gold buckle that year, he also rode nine of his 10 bulls at the NFR and won the average.
A five-time NFR qualifier, Davis' career was cut short when he suffered a major injury in 1998. The accident left him paralyzed from the chest down, but his passion for rodeo has never diminished.
Keith Isley
Keith Isley, another North Carolina inductee, built an incredible career as a barrelman and clown. Isley first purchased his PRCA card in 1994, then went on to perform at the NFR from 1998-2002 and from 2008-2009.
He was the PRCA Clown of the Year from 2006-2011 and was named the Coors Man in the Can in 2006 and 2009-2011. He earned the PRCA Specialty Act of the Year Award and PRCA Comedy Act of the Year Award each five times.
Ike Sankey
Ike Sankey has become a legend in professional rodeo, not only as a competitor, but as a stock contractor. Sankey qualified for the NFR five times in the bareback riding and saddle bronc riding. In 1978, he was approved as a stock contractor for the PRCA. He has since produced multiple bucking stock of the year award winners.
In 2019, Sankey Pro Rodeo merged with Phenom Genetics, furthering the legacy Sankey had built. Currently, award-winning horses such as The Black Tie and bucking bulls like Magic Touch are coveted draws for rodeo cowboys.
Bobby Goodspeed
A 12-time NFR qualifier in tie-down roping, Bobby Goodspeed is an NFR Average winner and a multiple-time champion in the Great Lakes circuit. After his competitive career inside the arena, he became a judge for the PRCA.
Beutler & Son Rodeo's Killer Bee
Killer Bee retired in 2022 and passed away in 2024, due to pregnancy complications. As both a bareback and saddle bronc horse in the PRCA, she became legendary.
The PRCA Bareback Horse of the Year in 2019, she performed at the NFR in both events throughout her career. In her last-ever trip, Dawson Hay tied the NFR Round 9 record in saddle bronc riding with a 92-point ride aboard the great mare.
San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo
In 1932, the San Angelo Stock Show was born. A rodeo was added two years later. 94 years later, the rodeo continues today, as one of the richest rodeos in the sport, with a payout of nearly $800,000.
Troy Weekley
Troy Weekley of the Weekley Brothers Davie Pro Rodeo was selected for the 2026 Ken Stemler Pioneer Award. Alongside his brothers and a friend, he formed Five Star Rodeo in 1986, after purchasing Flying G Rodeo from Eric Eric Goolsby of Okeechobee, Fla. Troy served as a member of the PRCA board of directors for nearly 10 years.
