Asher Perez of Arizona College Prep voted the WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Perez received 63.21% of the vote, beating out teammate Fauster Johnson, who finished second with 34.55%

Congratulations to Arizona College Prep’s Asher Perez for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18. 

Perez, a junior point guard on the Arizona College Prep team, had a double-double for the Knights with 14 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a 67-39 home victory against Flagstaff.

Perez received 63.21% of the vote, beating out Fauster Johnson, a junior on the Arizona College Prep team, who finished second with 34.55%. Zach Cutler, a sophomore on the Arizona College Prep team, was third with 1.84% and Lex Clontz, a junior on the Cesar Chavez team, and Darius Wabbington, a freshman on the Sunnyslope team, tied for fourth at 0.11%. There were nearly 4,000 votes tallied this week.
