Gentry sophomore quarterback Talan Williams was voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10. 

Williams totaled 12,522 votes (31.12%) . CAC junior QB Grayson Wilson was second with 8,865 votes (22.03%).

Williams, making his first varsity start under center, completed 16 of 25 passes for 276 yards and rushed for 56 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in a 63-40 victory over Quitman.
