LA VERNE–Long Beach Poly survived a scare from Jake Holtz, Hayden Bayudan, and an undersized but tough Damien (Hawaii) squad in double-overtime.

The Jackrabbits didn't have a great night shooting from deep, but Peyton Watson came up clutch, as did the team's defense, and they got the 74-70 win.
