Jack Turner and Brandon McCoy combine for 38 points to lead St. John Bosco over San Ramon Valley 78-62 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO — Jack Turner scored a game-high 20 points and Brandon McCoy added 18 to lead St. John Bosco over San Ramon Valley 78-62 on Friday night in the California (CIF) Division 1 state boys basketball championship at the Golden 1 Center.

It marks the second state boys hoop title for the Braves (28-7) in school history.

McCoy grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and Turner connected on four 3-pointers.

Elzie Harrington supplied 12 points and had seven assists in the victory. 

St. John Bosco jumped out 28-11 first period lead and never trailed.

Luke Isaak led San Ramon Valley (29-8) with 18 points.
