SACRAMENTO — Ardarius Grayson and Caleb Rollins scored 20 points each to lead Oakland Tech over Centennial (Bakersfield) 79-55 on Saturday night in the California (CIF) Division 2 state boys basketball championship at the Golden 1 Center.

It marks the first boys state hoop title for the Bulldogs (30-5) in three appearances.

Grayson had 12 rebounds and seven assists for Oakland Tech while Ahemd Gulaid finished with 16 points.

Rippen Gill led Golden Hawks (28-8) with a game-high 22 points and Donquavius Bolton had 12.

Oakland Tech took command of the game by outscoring Centennial 26-14 in the third period.
