FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA — In a battle of state champions from opposite coasts, St. John Bosco (California) made the long trek to South Florida to meet local power St. Thomas Aquinas, on the Raiders home turf, and the Braves impressed with a 20-7 victory in contest that was even more lopsided than the final score may indicate.

St. John Bosco, the No. 2 team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Football Power 25, had little trouble with the blistering Florida heat while dispatching Aquinas, the No. 10 team in our national rankings.
