Champ Smith, 2027 star quarterback, transfers from Jupiter Christian to Columbus High School

Smith threw for nearly 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2023

Another big-time South Florida high school football quarterback transfer has occurred. 

This time, a player from the 561 is heading down to the 305. 

According to New Era Prep, Champ Smith, one of the top 2027 quarterbacks in the Sunshine State, has transferred from Jupiter Christian to back-to-back Class 4M state champion Columbus

Smith as a freshman last season for the Eagles proved himself in being one of the best of the 2027 class. The signal caller completed 141-of-233 passes for 1,974 yards and 20 touchdowns. 

The freshman has several Power Five offers already so far, with Smith holding overtures from Arkansas, Charlotte, Maryland, Ole Miss, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.
