Listed below are some of the top standouts and performers from Week 6 high school football games throughout the Show-Me State: 

Tayvion Bailey, LB, Carthage

The Tigers defense allowed only a touchdown in a 49-7 win over Ozark and the linebacker had two interceptions in the win.

Bryant Bull, QB, Marshfield

Accounted for six total touchdowns in a 55-21 win over Aurora in Big 8 Conference play. Bull ran for four and threw two more – all in the first half.

Cade Chappell, RB, Savannah

The Savages are now 6-0 after a 41-6 win against Cameron thanks to Chappell’s 18-carry, 183-yard game. He accounted for three touchdowns, including an 85-yarder for the game’s first score.

Kael Combs, WR, Nixa

Combs helped the Eagles hammer Carl Junction, 58-6, thanks to six catches for 140 yards and four touchdowns in a Central Ozark Conference road game.

Douryun D’obron, QB, Odessa

Combined for five touchdowns in a 61-36 win over Warrensburg, though the game was tied at 26-26 at halftime. D’obron was 7-for-11 passing for 147 yards and three scores, while rushing 11 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Christian Gray, CB, De Smet

Gray grabbed two interceptions as De Smet picked up a 37-20 win against SLUH.

Ethan Hansen, QB, Rockhurst

The Hawklets won a 10th straight against St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) behind Hansen’s three touchdown passes. He was 9 for 16 for 179 yards in the 32-11 win.

Quenton Hughes, QB, Neosho

A junior, Hughes completed 33 of 39 passes for 407 yards and five touchdowns in a 50-31 win over visiting Branson. 

Madden Irving, RB, Chaminade

Irving carried the ball 24 times for 102 yards and scored three times – twice in the first half – to help the Red Devils beat Vianney, 58-31.

Trevor Klein, RB, East Buchanan

Ran for three touchdowns in the first quarter to help set the tone in to help the Class 1 champs roll to a 49-14 win over West Platte.

Hayden Lackman, RB, Blair Oaks

The freshman ran for touchdowns of 4, 5 and 31 yards in a 65-6 win over Versailles for the No. 1 team in Class 2.

Braxon Linville, QB, North Andrew

The No. 1-ranked team in 8-man picked up a 54-6 win over Stanberry at home. He threw a pair of touchdowns and ran 13 times for 113 yards and two more scores.

Cooper Loe, FB, Maryville

The Spoofhounds picked up another Midland Empire Conference win with a 55-13 thumping of St. Joseph Benton. Loe led the way with three rushing scores.

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Christian Brothers College

The standout running back had eight carries for 102 yards and three scores in 55-24 road win at Bishop Chatard in Indianapolis.

Jackson Marrs, RB, Seneca

In a shootout 63-49 win against Reeds Springs, Marrs scored twice in the final five minutes to help seal the win for the Indians. He also returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown.

Austin McGukin, RB, St. Pius X Festus

The senior carried the ball only eight times for 80 yards but was very effective when he did. He ran for touchdowns of 4, 20 and 28 yards in a 58-6 win against Cuba.

Briar McIntire, QB, Archie

The No. 3-ranked Whirlwinds picked up a 52-14 win against No. 5 Drexel in 8-man action thanks to McIntire. He accounted for 400 yards of offense and seven touchdowns – five through the air.

James Noel, RB, Park Hill

The running back scored the game-winning touchdown with 1:35 left to help Park Hill beat Park Hill South, 42-35. Earlier in the game, Noel had a picked up a blocked field goal attempt and ran it back for a touchdown.

Gabe Novak, RB/S, Trenton

Ran for a touchdown and had a late interception to help the Bulldogs beat Polo, 24-6, improving to 6-0 on the season – the most wins for the program since 2016.

Zyan Royal, RB, Parkway North

Had a banner down on the ground with 224 yards rushing and scored five touchdowns in a 40-35 win over Parkway West.

Anthony Shiver, RB, Mexico

Ran for 197 yards and four touchdowns to help the Bulldogs beat Fulton, 54-7, to win an 11th straight Highway 54 Bowl.

Logan Slinkard, QB, Lutheran South

Threw at least one touchdown every quarter in a 42-28 win against Westminster Christian. Finished with five touchdowns in the air and completed 18 of 28 passes for 290 yards.

Jackson Young, RB, Kickapoo

Ran for touchdowns of 3, 1 yards to help the Chiefs beat West Plains in an Ozark Conference showdown in Springfield.
