Photos: Hickman rallies to beat Battle in Columbia boys basketball showdown
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Brock Camp scored a game-high 18 points as the Hickman boys basketball team rallied late for a 64-61 victory at Battle on Friday night.
Isaiah Bonaparte added 13 points for Hickman (17-7).
Vernell Holt and Ethan Wiley led Battle (17-7), ranked 24th in the SBLive Missouri Power 25, with 15 points apiece. Wiley scored nine points in the first quarter to spark the Spartans to an early 20-9 lead.
Hickman outscored Battle 20-8 in the second quarter to take a 29-28 lead into halftime. Battle stormed back with a strong third quarter, outscoring Hickman 21-12, to take a 49-41 lead into the final quarter.
Camp scored 11 of his 18 points in the fourth as the Kewpies outscored the Spartans 23-12 to pull out the three-point victory.
