Caden Bates, Marlington baseball

Bates went 2-for-4 and scored two runs to lead the Dukes to a 6-3 victory over Alliance.

The University of Kentucky commit had a pair of hits, including a three-run homer in the first inning, to lead the Generals to a 7-3 victory over Massillon.

Abbi Ervin, Athens softball

Ervin went 3-for-4 at the plate, launching three homers, scoring three runs and driving in five runs to in a 12-4 win over Logan.

Nick Frontino, St. Ignatius baseball

The sophomore blasted a home run, scored two runs and racked up four RBIs to best Brunswick 6-1.

Cam Hall, Holland Springfield softball

Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs to shut out Bowling Green 10-0.

Greg Kennedy, Johnathan Alder baseball

Had a hit and reeled in four RBIs as the Pioneers topped Urbana 16-5 to claim the Central Buckeye Conference championship and remain undefeated.

Shelbie Krieger, Rootstown softball

The Miami commit threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts as Rootstown blanked Southeast, 8-0.

Cassidy Lane, Margaretta softball

The freshman went the distance with nine strikeouts and added two hits and three RBIs to lead the Lady Bears to a dominant 12-0 win over Edison.

Emily Lipscomb, Watkins Memorial softball

Lipscomb hit her first career home run on Senior Night after returning from an injury. She also had two RBIs, two runs and a walk en route to an 11-1 victory over Granville.

Delaney Maynard, Pemberville Eastwood softball 

In a 12-3 win over Woodmore, Maynard had two RBIs, earned her 150th career hit and set a new program record for the most RBIs in a season with 52.

Brock Miller, Keystone baseball

In a 5-0 shutout win over Columbia, Miller allowed just one hit and struck out 12 over seven innings.

Erin Richendollar, Southeastern (Chillicothe) softball 

On the mound, Richendollar allowed one run and struck out 13 batters. At the plate, she had one run, two walks and two stolen bases as Southeastern defeated Huntington 8-1.

Went 4-for-4 with a three-run homer, two doubles and a single to shut out Morgan 8-0.

Mia Strizak, Berea-Midpark softball

The senior had an RBI single in the third inning to top North Ridgeville 2-1 and help the Titans take the lead in the Southwestern Conference title race.
