Watch: Quinton Martin, Penn State RB commit, dazzles in 4-touchdown performance
Belle Vernon (Pennsylvania) star Quinton Martin is universally regarded as an elite playmaker.
Every major recruiting service lists him as either a top-50 prospect nationally or one of the nation's top four versatile "athlete" prospects, a distinction given to players who could end up contributing at multiple positions in college.
However, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound playmaker appears best suited for a future at the running back position, as he showed Friday night.
In a 40-0 victory over Laurel Highlands, Martin scored on touchdown runs of 31 and 40 yards, and showed off his versatility with a pair of short touchdown grabs, including one that highlighted his impressive blend of body control and strength to get the ball across the goalline.

Overall, Penn State's 24-man 2024 recruiting class is ranked No. 10 nationally.
Martin is the headliner, but he is joined by a pair of fellow top-100 talents - Cheshire Academy (Connecticut) tight end Luke Reynolds and Dexter Southfield (Massachusetts) defensive lineman Liam Andrews.
