TreVaun Clark, nation's No. 22 overall basketball prospect, 'can't wait' for Oklahoma Sooners visit
The Oklahoma Sooners are hosting a major basketball prospect this weekend.
Class of 2026 Wagner (Texas) forward TreVaun Clark, the nation's No. 22 overall prospect and No. 10 small forward, will be in Norman for an unofficial visit.
"I’m really excited to visit Oklahoma University," he said. "I can’t wait to get on campus and meet all of the coaches. Getting to learn the history of (Oklahoma) basketball and the school is a win. Coach (Ryan) Humphrey and I have started to build a good relationship."
The highly-coveted 6-foot-7, 185-pound athlete holds early offers from LSU, Oklahoma State and others, and has emerged as a national recruit.
This spring, Clark was selected to participate In USA Basketball's U-16 training camp.
For his part, the Texas star doesn't exactly have a checklist for his suitors, but knows what he's looking for.
"The school that feels like family and the feeling of home is what is going to help make my decision," he said.
Following his trip to Oklahoma will take a visit to Oklahoma State, which may be the program recruiting him the hardest thus far.
It remains early in the process for Clark, but Oklahoma will get its shot to impress him this weekend.
