Breyunna Dowell named title game MVP with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals

SAN ANTONIO - Breyunna Dowell had 20 points, six rebounds and five steals to lift Fairfield over Winnsboro 60-54 on Saturday morning in the UIL Class 3A girls basketball championship at the Alamodome.

Shadasia Brackens supplied 16 points for the Eagles (40-1) while teammate Jarahle Daniels finished with 11 points - including two 3-pointers.

Center Faith Acker led Winnsboro (34-6) with a game-high 24 points and 19 rebounds.
