Texas high school football playoff roundup: Recaps for every UIL 6A Division I regional semifinal
The regional round of the Texas high school football playoffs is done, and the UIL regional final matchups have been determined in all classifications across the Lone Star State.
First, we took a look at the Class 5A brackets, examining the most compelling finishes and biggest games of the third postseason round.

Then, we examined the small schools and the top 10 games across classes 2A through 4A. Now? We take a closer look at the biggest schools in Texas: the Class 6A Division I bracket.
Here is what went down in every game in the Class 6A Division I bracket on Friday and Saturday:
NORTH CROWLEY AVENGES 2022 LOSS, DOWNS PROSPER
The Panthers (13-0) avenged last season's loss to Prosper in the regional semifinals behind a strong performance from senior tailback Ashton Searl. Searl, who played at nearby Crowley before transferring in the offseason, rushed for 207 yards on 37 carries and four TDs, two of which helped get North Crowley out to a 21-0 first-half lead. Quarterback Chris Jimerson had the Panthers' opening TD, a pass to Mason Ferguson, as he finished with 127 yards through the air and 87 more on the ground.

ALLEN ROLLS LEGACY
Allen erased a 14-0 first-quarter deficit by ending the opening half on a 16-0 run, capped by a Brayden Nelson 32-yard field goal in the closing seconds before intermission. The Eagles (9-4) then scored on each of their first five possessions in the second half, as TDs from Kayvion Sibley and Caleb Smith gave them a 31-21 lead late in the third quarter. Micah Ellis added 106 yards and two TDs in the win.

KEELON RUSSELL POWERS D'VILLE PAST THE WOODLANDS
The Panthers (12-1) cruise into the regional final round behind yet another solid performance from their cavalcade of stars. That includes quarterback Keelon Russell, who had a 28-yard keeper to put Duncanville ahead to stay in the second quarter. Russell then threw an 8-yard TD to receiver Dakorien Moore, and then had a 30-yard TD run in the third quarter as Duncanville opened up a 28-7 lead. It became 35-7 later in the third as LSU commit Caden Durham finished off a long drive with a short TD run.

WESTFIELD JUMPS ALL OVER ROCKWALL
Westfield jumped out to a 36-7 first-quarter lead, which started with an 82-yard pick-six from Jordan James. Westfield went on to score on its final seven drives of the first half in building a 57-20 halftime lead, which grew to 64-20 on a 42-yard TD run by Taji Atkins less than a minute into the second half. Atkins finished with 196 yards on 10 carries and three TDs, while quarterback Miles Dent accounted for 211 total yards and five total TDs.

NORTH SHORE ROLLS PAST TREY OWENS, CY-FAIR
Christopher Barnes got things started for the Mustangs (13-0) by returning the opening kickoff 94 yards for a TD. Quarterback Kaleb Bailey later had a 58-yard TD keeper and a 53-yard TD strike to Cameron Smith as North Shore built a 21-0 lead late in the first quarter. Bailey threw two more TDs in the second quarter as he finished 21-of-26 passing for 315 yards and four TDs while adding 45 yards rushing. Smith caught 10 passes for 184 yards and two TDs.

ATASCOCITA BLOWS PAST LAMAR IN SECOND HALF
The Eagles (11-2) broke a scoreless tie on the first play of the second half, when quarterback Zion Brown connected on a 90-yard TD pass to Cameron Glenn. Brown threw for 202 yards and added 52 more yards on the ground, including an 8-yard TD run with less than two minutes left, which gave Atascocita a 28-14 lead. Tailback Cardae Mack added 114 yards on 18 carries and a TD, while Glenn caught four passes for 106 yards.

LAKE TRAVIS MAKES QUICK WORK OF BRENNAN
After spotting Brennan a 7-0 lead early on, the Cavaliers went to work. A field goal and a 29-yard TD reception from Cole Munneryn put Lake Travis (11-2) up 10-7. Tailback Nico Hamilton then added TD runs of 49 and 2 yards to extend the lead to 24-7 by halftime. Munneryn then caught a 46-yard TD pass early in the second half to make it 34-7. Hamilton finished with 221 yards rushing on 27 carries.

WESTLAKE ROUTS LAREDO UNITED
Westlake converted three first-quarter turnovers into touchdowns as the Chaparrals built a 35-0 lead by the end of that quarter. The Chaps went up 42-0 early in the second quarter and also led 52-7 in the third after Will Sloan returned a fumble 12 yards for a TD. Running back Jack Kayser rushed for three TDs, all in the first quarter, while quarterback Rees Wise threw first-quarter TD passes to Nate Acosta and Heath McRee and added a TD keeper in the second quarter.
