As Hailey Van Lith leads Cashmere through the postseason in search of a 1A state championship, she passed another landmark on Saturday.

The five-star Louisville commit and McDonald's All-American became the Washington high school girls basketball career scoring leader when she passed Davenport's Jennifer Stinson's longstanding record set in 1995.

Van Lith's 46 points in an 84-28 win over Omak in the 1A Caribou Trail League tournament finals at Eastmont High School was enough to surpass the record by five points (2,886).

According to Slam Magazine, she also had 12 boards and 10 assists — a triple-double.

The win earned Cashmere a berth to the 1A regional round of the state tournament. The Bulldogs, the last remaining undefeated 1A girls team, are ranked No. 1 in the WIAA's RPI rankings, used to seed the state tournament, as well as the 1A coaches poll.

Van Lith broke the record on the same night Odessa's Ryan Moffet surpassed the all-time Washington career scoring record, regardless of gender. Moffet passed Brock Ravet's 3,100 career points set last season.
