KALAMA — After spinning out of a collapsing pocket, Kalama QB Jackson Esary tried to shovel the ball to a receiver tracking back as he was being pulled down. The pass was tipped by Laythan Demarest, and fell into the hands of junior linebacker Gavin Parker, who ran it back 73 yards for a touchdown to push the lead to 17 with 2:42 left.

The play would prove to seal a back-and-forth 49-32 win by Napavine at Chinook Stadium on Saturday featuring high-octane offense and six lead changes. Watch the play here:
