Allison Girardi is an intern for the Mets On SI site. She just graduated this spring from Rutgers University where she received a BA in Journalism and Media Studies with a concentration in sports journalism. She has been covering collegiate sports for the past four years at the Daily Targum, covering nearly every Rutgers sport. She has also contributed as an intern in the Rutgers Athletics Communications department, producing stories and content. She attributes her love of baseball to her father who taught her what it means to be a fan of the game.
