Manhattan Beach is about to welcome a new star athlete to the neighborhood. Los Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic has reportedly purchased the former home of tennis legend Maria Sharapova for $25 million.
The three-story home was custom built in a Japanese architectural style and includes five bedrooms, an indoor-outdoor living space that opens up to a pool and a two-lane bowling alley.

According to the house for-sale listing, Sharapova and her family decided to sell so they could spend more time in Europe, but they also have a residence in Florida. The retired former Grand Slam champion has a son with her fiancé, British businessman Alexander Gilkes.

Based on the asking price of $24.995 million, it appears Doncic's offer of $25 million was on the money. The former Dallas Mavericks star made the big move to L.A. this year due to a trade after living in DFW since 2018.
Doncic signed a very lucrative extension with the Lakers after wrapping up the 2024-25 season in the conference quarterfinals. He inked a three-year extension for $165 million.
