2024 Alabama A-Day Scoring System, Rosters

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — With a new coach comes new changes. Alabama will be switching its spring game format under new head coach Kalen DeBoer. He revealed earlier this week that instead of it being two pre-divided teams facing it off, it will be strictly offense vs. defense.
All of Alabama's offensive players are on the White team, and all of the defensive players are on the Crimson team. Because of that, it won't be traditional scrimmage scoring.
Here is how the scoring will break down:

Offense
- Touchdown- 6 points
- Extra point- 1 point
- Field goal- 3 points
Defense:
- Turnover- 7 points
- 3-and-out- 3 points
- Missed field goal- 2 points
- Punt- 2 points
- 4th down stop: -1 yard line to -49 yard line (6 points), 50 yard line to 25 yard line (5 points), 25 yard line to 1 yard line (4 points)
