If You Want to See the Crimson Tide Cheap, This is the Game to Attend

Many of those looking to sell their seats for Austin Peay at Alabama appear to be just trying to get something back from what they initially spent.

How easy is it for Alabama Crimson Tide fans to buy tickets for Saturday's football game against Austin Peay?

Let's just say that one could get a seat inside Bryant-Denny Stadium for less than the $10 flat fee charged for purchases on SI Tickets.

Or you could get two seats for less than most nearby places charge for parking.

As of Thursday night, seats for the game against Austin Peay were more than available on the service. Upper-deck spots, usually near the top rows of Bryant-Denny Stadium, were going for $7-$10. One could land one of the lower upper-deck seats for up to $16.

As for the lower deck, there were going for $112 and up.

The best seats available had a price tag somewhere to around $250 each even though the Crimson Tide was playing a team from the Football Championship Subdivision.

If you're wondering how that compared to the asking price for seats for next week's Iron Bowl against rival Auburn, the cheapest tickets available for the Nov. 26 were for $150 (row 5, upper end zone NN5). It was for a group of five.

The cheapest seats in the lower bowl were going for at least $386 each.

The most expensive seats for sale were South Zone 4, row six, for $1,160 each.

Saturday's game will be the first meeting between Alabama and Austin Peay, and the last non-conference game on the 2022 regular season schedule.

The Governors are getting $600,000 to make the trip from Clarksville, Tenn. It'll also be the first time the Crimson Tide faces a team from the current ASUN Conference.
