The Alabama Crimson Tide adds its third offensive lineman to the class of 2024 in local prospect William Sanders.

Sanders, from Brookwood High School, is considered a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 24 interior offensive linemen by the 247Sports Composite. He announced his commitment Friday afternoon in front of fans and media at Brookwood.

"Something about Alabama, just being the best of the best and being able to have a chance to be a part of that and wanting to make the best me I can be. On top of that being 20 or 30 minutes down the road, it's the comfortable choice but it's a challenging choice," Sanders told BamaCentral. "The challenges that I'll face on and off the field. The character development that I'll be open to experiencing. If I were to go back in time to a younger me, would he be excited for this and I think he would be and that was another driving point that made me put this hat on."

The rising senior stands at 6-3, 290 pounds and was offered by several universities to play football. He ultimately chose Alabama over Mississippi State and LSU.

Alabama offensive line coach Eric Wolford served as his primary recruiter. Sanders was offered a scholarship by the Tide in June after a strong performance in a Tuscaloosa camp.

He joins Joseph Ionata and Casey Poe as Alabama 2024 linemen and gives the Crimson Tide 15 overall commitments in the current class.

According to 247Sports Alabama's class is the fifth best in the nation, trailing just Georgia, Ohio State, Florida and Michigan.
