FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Less than a week after Texas Tech eliminated Arkansas from March Madness in the Sweet 16, portal season is already upon us.

Center Zvonimir Ivisic joins Casmir Chavis as the first two players in the John Calipari era to hit the transfer portal at Arkansas, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

The sophomore from Vodice, Croatia was the first player to join Calipari at Arkansas when the coaching change took place and was one of three Wildcats to make the change from Kentucky blue to Razorback red (DJ Wagner and Adou Thiero).

In 35 games with Arkansas (19 starts), Ivisic averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 19.1 minutes. He also led the team in both blocks per game (1.9) and three-point percentage (37.6%)

At times, Ivisic was Arkansas' best player, highlighted by his back-to-back 25+ point performances against SEC opponents Alabama and LSU in early February. Calipari reinserted Ivisic into the rotation against Missouri Jan. 18. Including the seven games that followed, Ivisic shot 19-for-42 from beyond the arc (45%).

With the highs, also came stretches of inconsistent play. Ivisic played just a total of 26 minutes across the three NCAA Tournament games, scoring two points. He also dealt with lingering ankle issues at the beginning of the season that limited his time on the court.

With Ivisic's departure, Arkansas' nine-man rotation is down to just six potential returners. Both guard Johnell Davis and forward Jonas Aidoo are outgoing seniors. It is widely expected that guard Boogie Fland will declare for the NBA draft.
