FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Razorbacks and coach John Calipari will host UCF transfer wing Keyshawn Hall for a Zoom call Tuesday, according to On3.

After beginning his career at UNLV (2022-23), George Mason (2023-24) and UCF this season, the 6-foot-7, 250 pound stretch forward should be a great fit for team's with tournament aspirations. There was mutual interest last offseason, but the timing and transition of Eric Musselman to USC and Calipari to Arkansas likely played a role in that dissolving.

Hall averaged a career-high 34 minutes per game last season and 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. His shooting volume also continued to rise while maintaining a respectable 43% from the floor on 13 attempts per game.

During his lone year in the Big 12, Hall's game proved to be transcendent to a power conference league as he finished the year with 16 games of 20+ points for the Knights. The rising senior's best performances came on the road against conference foes including 40 points, seven rebounds and six assists at Arizona State, 34 points at Kansas and Oklahoma State.

Hogs Contact Three Point Assassin

Monmouth guard Abdi Bashir, Jr. is a willing three point shooter who posted a 37% mark over his three seasons on 262 tries. While Hall is known as a scorer, he distributed three or more assists in 14 games while recording at least two in 24-of-33 games.

Bashir entered the transfer portal earlier this week and has heard from several Power Four schools including Arkansas, Oregon, Ole Miss, Memphis, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, NC State, USC, Alabama, Kansas and many others.

The 6-foot-7 shooting guard more than doubled his scoring output from his freshman season averaging 20 points on 38% from the field and three (127-of-332) along with an 87% mark from the free throw line. Bashir also scored 20+ points in 17 games this season along with a career-high 38 points at Rutgers in November, which was one of five games scoring 30 or more points as a sophomore.

Bashir is currently the No. 8 shooting gaurd and No. 35 ranked transfer in the portal, according to 247sports. His brother, Abdul, signed with Auburn out of the JUCO ranks after averaging 25 points per game on 37% from three.
