Cincinnati Faces Largest Underdog Spread of Their Season Against No. 1 Houston

The Bearcats have to break a few losing streaks if they want to keep any at-large bid hopes alive.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati basketball faces its heftiest betting spread of the season when it travels to face No. 1 Houston as 13.5-point betting underdogs. The total is set at 132 points.

Cincinnati enters the game 12-14-1 against the spread (5-2-1 as a dog), while Houston is 13-12-2 ATS and 10-5-1 ATS at home. They have not lost outright on their floor once this season.

The contest marks UC's first matchup against the AP No. 1 team dating back to Dec. 31, 2004, against Illinois.

The Bearcats fell 67-45 in their first loss of the season that campaign. Cincinnati has to pull of the upset on Tuesday or their only path to making the NCAA Tournament will be through winning the Big 12 Tournament.
