John Newman III, Sage Tolentino Not Playing Against Cleveland State

Cincinnati takes on Cleveland State at 8 p.m. ET.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are missing a pair of players against the Cleveland State Viking tonight. 

Rotation guard John Newman III and freshman Sage Tolentino are out. Both were not dressed during pregame warmups

Newman played 11 minutes against Chaminade, recording two rebounds and one steal. Tolentino did not play on Monday.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+ as UC comes in as 22.5 point favorites over the 0-1 Vikings.

UPDATE: Wes Miller said Newman is dealing with a knee injury and he does not have a timetable for him to return as of Thursday night.
