UC Target Isaiah Collier Playing Scrimmage in Cincinnati

The Bearcats are hoping he joins the program in 2023.

CINCINNATI — UC's top 2023 basketball target is playing in the Cincinnati area this weekend. Isaiah Collier and Wheeler High School are scrimmaging against Sycamore on Saturday as the top point guard in the nation returns to Cincinnati.

At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Collier is widely viewed as the best pure passer in the country. He is the top player on 247Sports' rankings and lit up nearly every opponent his Skill Factory AAU squad faced this past summer.

He still has UC in his top four with UCLA, Michigan, and USC, as a commitment date looms on Nov. 16.

According to On3, UC was the favorite to land Collier at 29.8% a little over a month ago, but it's flipped heavily toward the Trojans. USC (93.4%) is now overwhelmingly favored to sign Collier, with UC holding the second-best odds (2.3%).

Former UC target Arrinten Page is also playing in the game as a starter for Wheeler. The top-60 2023 recruit recently committed to USC.

Fans can cheer them on this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
