Alec Pierce Catches First NFL Passes, Makes Crucial Plays in Colts' 20-17 Win

The rookie is ready to make his mark in blue and white.

CINCINNATI — Rookie Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce dealt with a concussion during the opening two weeks of the season, but he made his presence known in the Colts' 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The UC great caught the first three passes of his career for 61 yards on Sunday. He showed off his high-pointing skills throughout the afternoon. One of the catches, in particular, was massive towards notching a win.

Check out the plays below.

Pierce was eager to put his struggles in Week 1 behind him, and he should have plenty of chances to keep making plays the rest of the season. He commanded nearly 25% of the Colts' passing targets on Sunday.
